เอสซีจี เคมิคอลส์ หรือ SCGC รับโล่ประกาศเกียรติคุณ รางวัลส่งเสริมความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมของภาคธุรกิจ ประจำปี 2569 (CSR Award 2026) จากกระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ สะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นของ SCGC ในการดำเนินธุรกิจควบคู่กับการสร้างคุณค่าร่วมกับสังคมและชุมชน ผ่านการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต ลดความเหลื่อมล้ำ และเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้ชุมชนสามารถเติบโตได้อย่างยั่งยืน โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายกันตพงศ์ รังษีสว่าง ปลัดกระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ เป็นผู้มอบรางวัล และ ดร.พิเชษฐ์ ตั้งปัญญารัช ผู้ช่วยประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ปฎิบัติการและนวัตกรรม – การจัดการอุตสาหกรรมและความร่วมมือทางธุรกิจ เอสซีจี เคมิคอลส์ เป็นผู้รับมอบ
SCGC มุ่งยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้แก่ชุมชนตามเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) และแนวทาง ESG โดยบูรณาการมิติทางเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม และภายใต้หลักการสร้างการเติบโตอย่างมีส่วนร่วม (Inclusive Growth) ผ่าน 4 แนวทางสำคัญ ได้แก่ การศึกษา (Education) การสร้างอาชีพและรายได้ (Occupation) สุขภาวะและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี (Wellness) และการมุ่งสู่สังคมคาร์บอนต่ำด้วยการปรับตัว (Low Carbon Society by Adaptation) เพื่อร่วมกันสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ตอบโจทย์ชุมชนและเกิดผลลัพธ์ที่จับต้องได้และยั่งยืน
โดยในปี 2568 SCGC ร่วมกับชุมชนและภาคีเครือข่ายขับเคลื่อนโครงการและกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคม โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า 9,500 คน และสร้างมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจให้แก่ชุมชนกว่า 58 ล้านบาท ผ่านการพัฒนาวิสาหกิจชุมชน การส่งเสริมทักษะและอาชีพ การเปิดพื้นที่ตลาดสินค้าชุมชน รวมถึงการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างจากชุมชนในพื้นที่ดำเนินงาน เพื่อสร้างโอกาสในการประกอบอาชีพและรายได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง
นอกจากนี้ SCGC ยังได้นำความเชี่ยวชาญด้านวัสดุศาสตร์และนวัตกรรมเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อมมาพัฒนาโครงการเพื่อส่งเสริมสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม อาทิ โครงการ Nets Up ที่ร่วมกับกลุ่มประมงเรือเล็กพื้นบ้านและกรมทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่ง (ทช.) นำอวนประมงใช้แล้วกว่า 42,000 กิโลกรัม กลับเข้าสู่กระบวนการรีไซเคิลและพัฒนาเป็น Marine Materials วัสดุทางเลือกใหม่ ช่วยลดขยะที่อาจหลุดรอดสู่สิ่งแวดล้อม พร้อมสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับทรัพยากรตามหลักเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน
CSR Award 2026 เป็นรางวัลระดับประเทศ จัดโดยกรมพัฒนาสังคมและสวัสดิการ ผ่านสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการจัดสวัสดิการสังคมแห่งชาติ เพื่อเชิดชูองค์กรที่ดำเนินงานด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมอย่างเป็นระบบ โดยพิจารณาตั้งแต่ระดับนโยบาย การบูรณาการความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมเข้ากับกระบวนการดำเนินธุรกิจ การติดตามและประเมินผล การมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชนและภาครัฐ ตลอดจนผลลัพธ์ด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยมีแนวทางการดำเนินงานที่สอดคล้องกับ เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) และแนวทางความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม ISO 26000
การได้รับรางวัล CSR Award 2026 ในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงผลสำเร็จจากการดำเนินงานของ SCGC ที่มุ่งสร้างคุณค่าร่วมกับสังคมและชุมชนอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต สร้างโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจ และเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้ชุมชนสามารถพึ่งพาตนเองได้อย่างยั่งยืน
SCGC Receives CSR Award 2026 from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security
Reaffirming Leadership in Sustainability and Enhancing Community Quality of Life
SCG Chemicals or SCGC has been honored with the CSR Award 2026 from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, recognizing its commitment to conducting business alongside creating shared value for society and communities. Through initiatives that improve quality of life, reduce inequality, and strengthen communities for sustainable growth, SCGC continues to demonstrate its leadership in responsible business practices. The award was presented by Mr. Kantapong Rangsesawang, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and received on behalf of SCGC by Dr. Pichet Tangpanyarat, Vice President – Industrial Solutions & Partnership.
SCGC is dedicated to enhancing community well-being and resilience in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG principles, under the concept of inclusive growth. The company drives change through four key approaches: Education, Occupation and Income Generation, Wellness and Quality of Life, and Transition to a Low-Carbon Society by Adaptation. These initiatives aim to deliver tangible and sustainable outcomes for communities.
In 2025, SCGC collaborated with communities and partners to implement social projects and activities, engaging over 9,500 participants and generating more than 58 million baht in economic value. This was achieved through developing community enterprises, promoting skills and careers, opening markets for local products, and supporting community-based procurement—creating continuous opportunities for livelihoods and income.
SCGC also leverages its expertise in materials science and environmental innovation to advance social and environmental projects. For example, the Nets Up Project, in collaboration with local small-scale fishing groups and the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, recycled over 42,000 kilograms of used fishing nets into Marine Materials, a new alternative resource. This initiative reduces waste leakage into the environment while adding value to resources under the principles of the circular economy.
The CSR Award 2026, organized by the Department of Social Development and Welfare through the Office of the National Social Welfare Promotion Committee, honors organizations with systematic CSR practices. Evaluation criteria include policy integration, embedding CSR into business operations, monitoring and assessment, community and government engagement, and measurable economic, social, and environmental outcomes. The award aligns with the SDGs and ISO 26000 social responsibility guidelines.
Receiving the CSR Award 2026 highlights SCGC’s success in continuously creating shared value with society and communities—improving quality of life, generating economic opportunities, and empowering communities to achieve sustainable self-reliance.
